GARY SISCO Musician

A longtime friend and musical cohort, Gary Sisco has played drums (and spoons) with Michael since the 70s. Gary was one of the Vermont originals, and both he and his brother were part of the crowd Michael ran with. He has a wealth of knowledge about those days and the adventures had, as well as a wonderful collection of old gig posters and items that tell the stories of that era. While touring in Vermont, Gary provided a warm and welcome place to stay and a gathering ground for all. For better or for worse Michael began learning the accordion round that time...

Though he often plays with Snock, Gary makes his own music, too, playing under his name and singing tunes he has written himself over the years—Michael painted the cover art for his 2003 The End of the Trail. In 2005 he joined Michael for a East coast tour as part of The Sensitivos, along with Dave Reisch.
